- Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
- General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Oncology diagnoses from diagnosis to death, Hematology diagnoses, DNR/CC, Oncologic emergencies, Occasional off service; chemo precautions, morphine drips, dilaudid drips, cadd pumps, pca pumps
- Ratio / Census: 1:6; 19 Beds with average daily census of 15
- Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- RTO: MAX 7 days
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Floating: Yes, within facility and possibly at Piedmont Augusta Summerville (3 miles from main campus)
- Call Requirements: None
- Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
- Major Holidays are listed below: New Year’s Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1, Memorial Day: Monday, May 27, Independence Day: Thursday, July 4, Labor Day: Monday, September 2, Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29, Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25
- Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
