Job details

This position requires scrub. Please confirm that your traveler is comfortable scrubbing and rates 3/4s in scrubbing CV/PV/Heart and Lung transplant.
Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW).
First Time Travelers Accepted IF they have Level 1 Trauma Experience.
Skillset Requirement: Minimum 3 years experience, Circulate, Level 1 Trauma Center.
Average Daily Census: 70-80.
Rooms: 24.
Special Procedures/Unit Details: OR RNs need to be well rounded and current in most areas except CV & Transplant as they will be floated where needed.
Special Equipment: DaVinci XI Methodist.

Job requirements

Minimum 3 years experience, Circulate, Level 1 Trauma Center.
MUST HAVE experience in Heart/lung transplant, valve replacement, aortic dissection, receiving pump lines from perfusion and prepare them for cannulation.
If candidate has less than 3 years experience, they must have at least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience.
CORE 5: MUST HAVE 3s and 4s in CV, PV, Heart, and Lung Transplant.

Schedule information

Shift: 4x10s M-Th.
Call Requirement: 90-120 hours of call in a 6 week schedule.

Unit specific information

OR RNs need to be well rounded and current in most areas except CV & Transplant as they will be floated where needed.

Additional Details

Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of their assigned IU Health facility, will be offered $15 below the current bill rate.
IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour.
