Current state licensure

Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (job code 1024) performs complex and specialized procedures. Works independently, proficient with MRI equipment and computers. Provides basic MRI screening, prepares maintenance and repairs, participates in QA. Must be capable of quick, technical decisions for physical restrictions and pathology, with ongoing participation in MR education, safety, protocol development, quality assurance, and technical advances.

Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiological Sciences or equivalent preferred. 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred. 3 years of experience in a clinical imaging setting highly preferred.

Work: Monday – Friday, Shift: 0900 – 1730. Call: 2 weekday nights (can be either Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs depending on dept rotation), no weekends.

Department: Imaging MRI (2515 / 401). Coordinates and prioritizes procedures to maintain a high level of patient care. Ensures compliance with policies and standards. Demonstrates competency with MRI exams and use of injection equipment.
