Schedule information

0630-1900, 1830-0700
Self scheduling, can accommodate most schedule requests
Every third weekend, but could be up to every other based on unit need
1 major, 1 minor holiday requirement
Floating Requirements: Will float to Postpartum, occasional float to the house to be a 'sitter'

Unit specific information

# of L&D Beds: 16
# of OR Suites: 3 for C-Sections
# of Triage beds: 7
# of Postpartum beds: 36
Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, pain meds
Charge Nurse on each shift, sometimes takes assignment
ESS: Obix
Scrub Color/Dress code: Surgical scrubs provided
Duration of unit/department specific orientation: 2-3 shifts

Additional Details

Attributes that will help a nurse be successful on this unit include teamwork, positive attitude, flexibility, eagerness to learn, open to new challenges, and a great attitude
Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
