Employment Details

• Type: Contract
• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Approximately 36-40 hours per week (no downstaffing)

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in an emergency department or urgent care setting

Position Overview

The Walk In Clinic Registered Nurse will:

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and facility policies
• Collaborate with other clinic staff to deliver clinical care
• Assist with administrative duties under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor, Charge Nurse, and Providers

Additional Information

• Housing: Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. Housing can be extremely expensive, especially in winter. Common rates are around $3,500/month for a 1-bedroom apartment in Basalt. Consider housing options in surrounding towns such as Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs.
• RTO Policy: No formal approval for requests for time off (RTO), but accommodations may be considered.
• Health Requirement: Must be healthy enough to function safely in a low oxygen environment (8,000 feet elevation).
