Job requirements

Minimum 2 years experience required in a hospital setting, specializing in fetal monitoring.
Consistently applying the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and technical skills.
Must be able to deliver safe nursing care to patients independently.
Required to float as per the Methodist candidate policy.
Active engagement in unit and organizational activities is essential.

Schedule information

Shifts are 7A-7:30P or 7P-7:30A including rotating weekends.
This is a 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Unit specific information

The unit is equipped with fetal monitors and uses the Meditech/CPN documentation system.
Procedures performed include vaginal deliveries and caesarean sections.
Candidates are required to adhere to dress code policies, which include Navy scrub top and pants, and maintain a professional appearance regarding nails, hair, tattoos, and piercings.
