The RN position available is for the Medical 4 South unit. This role focuses on providing exceptional understanding and insight into the unit through detailed profiles that encompass location, number of beds, patient ratios, and other unique attributes to support recruitment of highly qualified staff.

Job requirements

Must possess essential nursing skills for the Medical Surgical specialty.
Preferred candidates will have certain skills which will be given priority in the selection process.

Schedule information

Shift times for the position are from 7 pm to 7:30 am.
Weekend work is typically every third weekend but may vary based on the manager's discretion.

Unit specific information

The unit, Medical 4 South, has 30 beds with a staff count of 35.
The patient ratio is 1 to 5 or 1 to 6, differing by day and night shifts.
Day shift staff count is 21, and for the night shift, it's 14.

Additional Details

The ideal candidate should have a teamwork-oriented personality.
Navy scrubs are the specified dress code for this unit.

Travel friendly, very supportive. Variety of work. Great coworkers. Low call backs . Most days are average 12-15 per 12 hour shift

No extra time at all, except call. Few call ins. No holiday work unless you just take call. (This may be a pro for some) Some days are very busy- up to 20 studies
