Qualifications

• Required Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS
• Years of Experience: 2+ years of Tele experience required
• Float Requirements: As needed/customary – float is required upon request

• Type of Patients on Unit: 50% Medical / 50% Tele, adults only
• Personality Fit: Team player, cares for positive patient outcomes, superior communication

• Overview: Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with established guidelines of nursing practice.

Auto Offer Guidelines

• Requested Time Off: Up to 5 days in each 13 weeks can be automatically approved (more would require prior approval).
• Weekends: Standard expectation of every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
• Holidays: Candidates should expect to work at least one of the major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day).
