- Progressive Care RN required for a 13-week contract position at Presbyterian Hospital. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift, ensuring safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care.
- Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken and patient responses, coordinating patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team, administering medication and treatments, meeting patient and family learning and discharge needs, and assuming responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.
- 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE applies - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS. Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission for approval.
- Must be a team flexible team player & accustomed to fast paced environment.
- Requires at least one 13-week previous travel assignment and two (2) years current experience required in specialty.
- EPIC experience preferred, but not required; training provided on-site.
- 12-hour Night Shift; start time 1900.
- Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
- On call, weekends and holidays may be required, per staff rotation.
- Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
- Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
- Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.
- Position will float to other areas as needed, within scope of practice.
- Scrubs: Required and not provided by the facility. May wear ANY solid color. The scrub top, pant, and jacket (if worn) must be the same solid color to match.
- NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS.
- Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from the last day worked, to be considered for a travel position.
- State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
