Job Description

• Specialty: ICU

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours each
• Floating Requirement: All travelers are required to float

Required Certifications

• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA only)
• BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA only)
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA only, required for ER and Brain Injury units)
• NIH Stroke Certification - Required for all RN candidates except for OR and Family Birth Place

Health Documents

• Physical Exam: Current Health Form/Physical Fitness for Duty signed and dated by provider within a year of start
• Fit Mask: N95 Fit Mask must be updated annually
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray: Required within 12 months of start
• Vaccination Records:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation for 2024-25
• Eye Exam: Snellen Eye Exam required within 1 year of contract start date

Background and History Checks

• Criminal Background Check: Must be no older than 3 months from start date
• Employment References: Minimum of 2 required
• Current Resume/CV: Required
• Work History Verification: Need to verify at least two past employments

Additional Information

• Orientation Modules: Due the Thursday prior to start at 2 PM EST
• Drug Testing: Required within 30 days of start date
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Preferred, not required
