Job Description

Position: Float Pool Traveler
Shift: PM shift (3 PM - 11 PM)
Hours: 32 hours/week, every other weekend

Required Certifications

California RN License
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)

Additional Certifications (Preferred/Required)

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
CCRN (Critical Care RN)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
NIH Stroke Certification
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
IV Certification (LVN/LPN/Other)
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)

Competencies

Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
Competency Exam
Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam

Health Documents

Physical Exam (within 1 year of start)
Fit Test (within 1 year of start)
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
TB Questionnaire
Drug Testing (Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen within 6 months of start)
