Job Description

Position: Telemetry RN
Schedule: 3x12 hour nights
Unit: Telemetry Float Pool

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 1 year required
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA only
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - as required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - as required
- NIH Stroke Certification - required for PACU & ICU
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam - within 6 months of start
- Competency Exam - within 6 months of start
- State License Verification - required
- NURSYS Verification (for RNs) - required

Additional Information

Identification: Government-issued photo ID required
Health Documents:
- Initial physical exam, updated annually
- TB test or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
- Vaccination records for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
- Flu vaccine required annually
- COVID-19 vaccination required for 2024-2025
Background Check: 7-year criminal check required within a year of start
References: Proof of 2 clinical references required
