Work Schedule

• Total Hours per Week: 40
• Days of Work: Monday to Friday with rotating call for nights and weekends

Required Certifications and Licenses

• Certifications:

  • SCRQSA
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - must be AHA or ARC certified
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - required for specific units
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - required for NICU and L&D
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - required for ER/ED and Pediatric ER
  • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) - required for ER and Pediatric ER
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification for ER/ED and Behavioral Health RNs
  • NIH Stroke Certification - required for various units
  • IV Certification (for LPN/LVN candidates)
• Licenses:

  • State License Verification - must show no pending action against the license
  • NURSYS Verification for RNs, LPNs/LVNs

Additional Requirements

• Background Check: 7-year criminal check required
• Drug Testing: 5-panel drug screen required annually
• Health Documents:

  • Physical Exam
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination
  • TB testing (True 2-step PPD or equivalent)
  • Flu vaccination documentation or exemption
  • Vaccination records for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella

  • Core competencies training required annually
  • Online orientation modules must be completed prior to start
