Work Schedule

- Days of Work: Monday to Friday with rotating call for nights and weekends
- Shift: 8-hour days, rotating start and end times

Required Certifications and Licenses
- Certifications:
- SCRQSA
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - must be AHA or ARC certified
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - required for specific units
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - required for NICU and L&D
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - required for ER/ED and Pediatric ER
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) - required for ER and Pediatric ER
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification for ER/ED and Behavioral Health RNs
- NIH Stroke Certification - required for various units
- IV Certification (for LPN/LVN candidates)
- Licenses:
- State License Verification - must show no pending action against the license
- NURSYS Verification for RNs, LPNs/LVNs
Additional Requirements
- Background Check: 7-year criminal check required
- Drug Testing: 5-panel drug screen required annually
- Health Documents:
- Physical Exam
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination
- TB testing (True 2-step PPD or equivalent)
- Flu vaccination documentation or exemption
- Vaccination records for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
- Training and Competencies:
- Core competencies training required annually
- Online orientation modules must be completed prior to start
- EKG and Medication tests for specific roles
