2YR/1ST TIMERS OK - MS/TELE RN - Req 7280
Will position float between units: Yes
Is on-call required? No
Are weekends required? Yes Every other weekend
Are block schedules required? Yes
What are expected ratios? 1:4 or 1:5
Special requirements: Positions will be either straight Day or Night Shift, 7 Day/7 NOC are needed. These positions are to open 12 additional Acute Care (Med/Surg/Tele/Progressive) beds on 2VP. They will support 84 open positions on 6 Adult Inpatient Units so our Resource RNs can staff the new unit beds until we can hire RNs for the unit.
Are 48 hours approved: Yes

Job requirements

2 years of experience okay for first-time travelers
MS/TELE nursing experience required

Schedule information

Position may float between units
No on-call requirements
Working every other weekend is required
Block scheduling is required
Expected patient ratios: 1 registered nurse to 4 or 5 patients

Unit specific information

Unit will be either Day or Night Shift
These positions are to open additional Acute Care beds and will be a part of a supportive team for onboarding

Additional Details

The positions will support opening additional beds and supporting adult inpatient units
