ACLS - relevant for the care team managing a variety of medical issues, including cardiac-related ones

NIH Stroke Certification - required due to the care including stroke management

Travel/Contract

3x12's or 4x12's, Nights, 7p-7a

EOW/EOH

Can be placed on-call 1,12 hr shift per pay period in the event census drops

All units may handle COVID patients

Epic exp. is required

Must have Telemetry exp.

travel experience preferred

Care includes diabetes, stroke, kidney failure, respiratory distress, sepsis, liver disease, low risk cardiac, CHF, syncope, post cardiac Cath (low risk), post pacemaker (low risk), pneumonia, COPD, viral respiratory illnesses and other medical issues.

Our care team is composed of RN’s, LPN, nursing assistants, respiratory therapist, physical therapist, and many providers to meet the complex needs of our patients.

Our nursing team frequently manages IV’s and access devices, NG tubes, various drains, urinary catheters, and wound vacs.

5TH Floor:5 Main is a 15-bed medical surgical/cardiopulmonary unit. Unit focuses on adult patients with variety of medical, surgical, and cardiopulmonary issues.

Nurse to patient ratios are 1:5/6 and nursing assistant ratios are 1:8/10

Care team is composed of RN’s, LPN, nursing assistants, respiratory therapist, physical therapist, and many providers to meet the complex needs of our patients
