Services on unit include geriatric trauma, trauma from abuse/violence, surgery for appendicitis, gallbladders, hernia repairs, and more.
Special Equipment on unit includes lifts, restraints, wound vacs, traction, and external fixators.

Job requirements

Years of experience REQ: 2.
Weekend REQ: Every other weekend.
Certifications REQ: BCLS.
Will not accept locals within a 75 mile radius unless Pending License is accepted.
Special Requirements: Must be able to work with tracheotomy patients, wound care, dressings, wound vacs, tubes, drains, but NO drips or chest tubes.

Schedule information

Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week.
Biweekly starts. Weekend requirement: every other weekend.

Unit specific information

RN/ MS - Trauma Specialty.
Unit ratios: 1:4-5.
Unit services include geriatric trauma, violence victims, surgeries, and acute care surgery such as appendicitis, gallbladder issues, and hernia repairs.

Additional Details

Not accepting RTO for dates: 11/24-12/1 and 12/21-1/4.
If a shift is missed, make up as soon as possible if able.
Maximum of 3 tardies and 2 call-ins in a 13-week contract or may result in cancellation.
