THIS IS AN ADOLESCENTS UNIT - MUST BE COMFORTABLE AND EXPERIENCED - DO NOT SUBMIT IF THEY CAN'T START 1/6! Works with the multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions. Utilizes the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care. Provides clinical supervision of MHW's to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care. The Co-Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program offers 24-hour care in a safe and nurturing environment that's designed to promote healing and ongoing recovery. Our treatment approach focuses on helping patients develop and maintain their sobriety while also managing co-occurring psychiatric issues (such as Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, etc.).

Job requirements

5 years of experience as an RN required (recent experience must be within the last 3 months) - REQUIRED
Psych/Behavioral Health experience and age groups must be listed on the resume - REQUIRED
Must have peds/child/adolescent psych experience listed in resume - REQUIRED
Must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts - REQUIRED
Will consider first time travelers
Resume with psych experience and age groups listed Ex. Psych RN - Facility - (AGE GROUP/POPULATION) - DATES
RTO cannot exceed 7 days
Psych skills checklist (within the last year)
2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment
Certifications - certifications don’t need to be active at time of submission but must be willing to obtain
License - confirm they are willing and eligible to obtain (please include this in the profile)

Schedule information

Any scheduling requests must be presented in the submission file.

Unit specific information

Clinically supervise MHW's to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.

Additional Details

Driver's license or candidates address must be included in the submission packet (35 miles or less will result in rate decrease).
Facility housing offered depending on vacancy. Should the traveler choose to accept facility housing, it will be $300-450 depending on which rooms/sizes are available. Agency is responsible for the leasing agreement and is outlined in the Client Specific Exhibit that was signed by your agency.

My assignment was in March 2022: As an LPN, worked as a tech and as a nurse on the floor so I was able to understand the process and patients better. The team work was great. Everyone took their job seriously. The food in the cafeteria was healthy and tasty.
