IR Tech position available at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Fast paced IR unit with a variety of procedures.
Work in a team of 1 RN & 2 Rad Techs with an average of 4-6 procedures per day.

Job requirements

Minimum experience of 2+ years.
Preferred experience in high quality radiologic exams, interventional medical sonography exams, cone beam CT exams, and complex procedures including interventional radiology, vascular interventional, and neuro interventional cases.
Experience in Interventional Cath Procedures, Interventional Vascular Procedures, or Interventional Neurology procedures.
Charting Experience required: Epic.

Schedule information

Contract Length: 13 weeks.
Start dates: ASAP.
Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 40 hrs.
Shift Requirements: 8 hrs flexible typically 7a-4:30p.
Float Requirements: Float to other locations in central region if needed.
On Call/Call Back Requirements: Call 1x per week and every 4th weekend.
Weekend/Holiday Rotation Requirements: For call only, every 4th weekend.

Unit specific information

Unit: Interventional Radiation.

Additional Details

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation.
Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed.
Scrub Colors required: Any colored scrubs.
