Job Description

Position: Surgical Services
Experience Required: 3 years
Specialty Requirements:
- Cardiac scrub experience
- Proficiency in general, ortho, neuro, and gyn specialties

Schedule

Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer to account for compliance)
Shift: 4x10 Hour Days
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Certifications Required

BLS (Basic Life Support)
State License
CST (Certified Surgical Technologist)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - required for ICU, ER, PCU, Cath Lab, PACU, Tele, Respiratory Therapists
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - required for PICU, ER, PACU
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - required for NICU, Nursery, Antepartum, PostPartum, and Labor & Delivery units
Chemo Certification - required for Oncology
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - required for ER
NIH Stroke Certification - required for Tele and ICU
EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - required for L&D, Mother-Baby/Post Partum, Nursery

Additional Requirements

Valid state licensure/certification as required for services being performed
Criminal Disclosure Statement
Photo for ID badge
Orientation Manual review
Drug Screen within 30 days of start
Background Check within 60 days of start
References from Charge RN or higher from the last 3 years, covering 1 year in specialty
Employment Application and Work History Verification

Health Documents

Physical Exam within 1 year of start
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
Documentation of vaccinations or declinations for flu, COVID-19, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis B

Competencies

Color Blind Testing (required for clinical candidates)

Notes

Must sign SS verification release.
Orientation Information Quiz required prior to start.
Dress Code Policy applies to all locations.
