Job Description
- Position involves floating to medical-surgical floors at the Main hospital and Ashley River Tower.
- Patient ratios may vary depending on the unit assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2 years preferred; first-timers accepted.
- License Requirement: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License.
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - required for specific units
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - required for pediatric units
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - required for specific units
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - not required for ER RNs
- Additional certifications may be required based on unit specifics.
Additional Information
- Local Radius: 60 miles; locals accepted on a case-by-case basis.
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
- Parking: $20 registration fee for a parking permit; additional fees may apply for parking outside designated areas.
