Employment Details

• Schedule: 3x12 hour nights (7 PM - 7 AM), 36 hours/week

Job Description

• Position involves floating to medical-surgical floors at the Main hospital and Ashley River Tower.
• Patient ratios may vary depending on the unit assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2 years preferred; first-timers accepted.
• License Requirement: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License.
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - required for specific units
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - required for pediatric units
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - required for specific units
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - not required for ER RNs
  • Additional certifications may be required based on unit specifics.

Additional Information

• Local Radius: 60 miles; locals accepted on a case-by-case basis.
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
• Parking: $20 registration fee for a parking permit; additional fees may apply for parking outside designated areas.

Health Requirements

• Vaccinations:

  • Tdap within 10 years; Td booster acceptable.
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days.
  • Drug screening required within 90 days.
  • COVID-19 vaccinations are highly preferred.
