Job details

2 years minimum experience required, with 1-3 years experience preferred for all candidates.
First time travelers accepted with 1-3 years busy interventional cath lab experience.
Traveler will perform duties such as circulation and conscious sedation.
Must have telemetry experience.
8hr Days shift, Monday - Friday 7:30a-4:00p.
On-call required, every 2-3 weekends.
No float requirement.
Weekend requirement every 2-3 weeks on call.
Procedure room ratio is 1:3-4 with additional staff outside for TEE/CV and stress testing.
Requirement to circulate elective and emergent cardiac cath/PCI.
Unit performs procedures like routine left and right heart cardiac caths, PCI, STEMI patients, device implants, IABP, Impella and simple EP studies and ablations.
Nursing care provided to all age groups with various system abnormalities.

Job requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in busy interventional cath lab.
Able to circulate and provide conscious sedation.
Proficient in telemetry monitoring.

Schedule information

Day shift 8hr Days, Monday - Friday 7:30a-4:00p.
Call requirement: on-call every 2-3 weekends.
Weekend requirements as part of on-call rotation every 2-3 weeks.

Unit specific information

Special procedures and equipment: GE Mac Lab, EPIC, IABP, Impella.
Medication system: Pyxis.
Documentation system: Epic.
Communication system: SBAR, Mac Lab safe handoff.
Unit orientation: 24 hours, hours vary based on travel experience.
