    Job requirements
  • PCVICU/PICU RN EXPERIENCE
  • MUST BE ABLE TO MANAGE ICU ASSIGNMENT WITH INTUBATED/VENTILATED PATIENT.
  • Managing care of a PICU patient with congenital heart defects is preferred.
  • Managing care of a PICU patient on multiple vasoactive infusions is preferred.
  • Typical procedures performed on unit include placement of chest tubes, central lines, PICC lines, arterial lines, Quinton catheters, peracentesis, thoracentesis.
  • Must be positive, helpful, and flexible.
    Unit specific information
  • Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit specifics will be provided with PCVICU/PICU handbook.
