A large system in Nebraska/Iowa is looking for a Night Med/Surg RN, 36 hours guaranteed.
1 year of unit experience.
Contract is 13 weeks.

Weekend Requirement: As needed

Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes
Any titratable drips?: NO, except Heparin
RT available and what equipment? (has only worked with RT doing all setup): RT is 24 hours on the floor
Tele on the floor at all, central tele (any monitor techs)?: Yes Tele's on the floor, but we have a centralized Tele station.
Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Yes- 1:10-12
Floating Requirements: PCU or Burn
Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided?: Navy blue
How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: First week is classroom and then 2-12 hour shifts on the floor
Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
