  • Must have 5-10 years experience as a supervisor or manager in any lab setting
  • Histo/direct point of care experience is preferred but not required
  • Responsible for histology, point of care in the hospital/clinic settings, and the phlebotomy team
  • Will not be working in the lab performing testing
  • Responsible for the HR functions of the areas overseen

  • Shifts & Scheduling: Mon-Fri 0800-1630
  • No weekend requirements

  • Number of employees supervised: 25 FTE that is made up of about 40 staff members

  • No staffing of lab assistants
  • LIS System: Soft Lab and Path Lab
  • EMR/Specific Equipment used in each area: EPIC
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Business casual, no scrub color requirement if they do want to wear scrubs
  • Top 3 Goals/Objectives for this leader: Stabilize the point of care area, interface with the pathologists with histology work area, assist phlebotomy lead with all the HR issues
    Additional Details
  • Radius Rule: 50 miles
  • Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
  • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
