Job Description

• Facility: A brand new state-of-the-art facility, the Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center, is set to open in May 2025. It will be New Jersey’s first and only freestanding cancer hospital, integrating RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute.
• Shift: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Cases per Day: 5-10
• Experience Required: 3+ years
• Travelers: First-time travelers are accepted.
• Weekend and Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and holiday as applicable.
• On-Call Requirements: Maximum of 3 nights in a seven-day period from 5 PM to 7 AM.
• Scheduling: No block scheduling; locals accepted.

Licensure and Certifications

• NJ License: Required
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Scrub and circulate required
  • Familiarity with sterile procedures, equipment setup, closure devices, EKOS, and GE and Phillips Angio Suites.
  • EPIC: Radiant and Q-site charting

• Scrubs: Provided by the hospital.
• Documentation Requirements:

  • Various accounting documents and certifications are required for clearance.
  • Specific certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) may be required depending on the unit.
