PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required for RN/LPNs working in ED or Pediatrics, must be AHA or ARC

NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure as required by unit

TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course as required by unit

EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring required for some candidates

State License 1 Verification required

NIH Stroke Certification required, expires every 2 years unless otherwise stated

Annual competency exams and testing

Color Blind Testing Online required

Unit Specific certifications required as per unit description

Start Dates: 11/18, 12/2

8-hour day shift Monday-Friday. Shifts will vary between 0700-1530, 0730-1600 and then 0830-1700 on their call days.

Weekday call is about once a week and from 1700-2100. Weekend call is about every 4-5 weekends from 0900-1400 on both Saturday and Sunday of your weekend.

This facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine

May come into contact with Covid Patients

Shifts vary between 0700-1530, 0730-1600, 0830-1700 on call days

Weekend call approximately every 4-5 weekends from 0900-1400

A valid driver's license may be required if driving on behalf of MedStar Health is an essential function of the job
