Staffing Ratios - Goal is 1:4, but can be 1:5
Weekends - variable based on unit needs
No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff
Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule
First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptor
2 Years of Experience Required
Patient Age group - Adults, Geriatrics
Patient Diagnoses - Surgical Oncology: breast, thyroid, melanoma, Hepatobiliary: liver, pancreas, spleen, biliary tract cancers, neuroendocrine, Colorectal: colon, rectal cancer, Plastics: reconstructive breast cancer or sarcoma
Special Procedures/Unit Details - Chemotherapy, Blood transfusions, IV Antibiotics, Oncologic emergencies, cytokine release syndrome, Insulin drips, Heparin drips, Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls
COMPUTERIZED CHARTING - EPIC
