Job Description
- Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in relevant field.
- Traveler Experience: First-time travelers accepted.
- Local Candidates: Accepted with rate difference.
- Required Skills:
- Experience with Pediatrics (PICU, PEDS ER, PEDS Floor, PEDS MS)
- Monitoring, Vent Management, O2 Therapy, Draw ABGs
- Peds and NICU experience is mandatory.
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- RRT credential (Registered Respiratory Therapist) with NC License
Preferred Skills
- Experience with neonates and infants, ground transport
- Familiarity with Servo I and EKG preferred
- NPS Certification
Work Environment
- Patient Ratios: 10-15 patients per day, focusing on Pediatrics and Neonates.
- Shift Details:
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15)
- Call Requirement: May be required based on workload.
- Floating: Required throughout PEDS units and floors.
- Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend.
Special Procedures/Unit Details
- 50% - 60% of daily cases involve NICU & PICU.
- Special Equipment: Preferred Vent: Servo I
Orientation and Attire
- Unit Orientation: 30 hours
- Scrubs: Black
Additional Information
- RTO (Request Time Off): Maximum of 7 days for Aya Auto Offer; no block scheduling.
- Documentation: Various accounting documents, certifications, health documents, and facility-specific documents are required prior to starting.
