Job Description

• Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in relevant field.
• Traveler Experience: First-time travelers accepted.
• Local Candidates: Accepted with rate difference.
• Required Skills:

  • Experience with Pediatrics (PICU, PEDS ER, PEDS Floor, PEDS MS)
  • Monitoring, Vent Management, O2 Therapy, Draw ABGs
  • Peds and NICU experience is mandatory.
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
  • RRT credential (Registered Respiratory Therapist) with NC License

Preferred Skills

• Experience with neonates and infants, ground transport
• Familiarity with Servo I and EKG preferred
• NPS Certification

Work Environment

• Patient Ratios: 10-15 patients per day, focusing on Pediatrics and Neonates.
• Shift Details:

  • 36 hours per week
  • 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15)
• Call Requirement: May be required based on workload.
• Floating: Required throughout PEDS units and floors.
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend.

Special Procedures/Unit Details

• 50% - 60% of daily cases involve NICU & PICU.
• Special Equipment: Preferred Vent: Servo I

Orientation and Attire

• Unit Orientation: 30 hours
• Scrubs: Black

Additional Information

• RTO (Request Time Off): Maximum of 7 days for Aya Auto Offer; no block scheduling.
• Documentation: Various accounting documents, certifications, health documents, and facility-specific documents are required prior to starting.
