Job details

General job duties. Types of procedures required. Knowledgeable and skillful in preparing and assisting physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Procedures performed include but not limited to: EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, Bronchoscopy. Administration of and monitoring patients receiving moderate sedation.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Olympus Scopes and video system. Medication System - Pyxis. Electronic Health Record - EPIC.
Required skills and minimum years of experience. IV skills. Organized, flexible. Good communication. Team Player.
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. Inpatient and Outpatient procedures performed with an average daily number of procedures ~ 12.
Dress Code: Navy Blue scrubs.

Schedule information

Typically 8 hour shifts; M-F (shift to be determined at time of request), Rotating call weeknights, weekends and holiday coverage.
Call is currently shared among 4 RNs.
