Units include 3 East is a 31-bed specialized unit, working with Alzheimer's/dementia residents, and tailoring care to meet their needs. The Transitional Rehabilitation Unit provides short-term, skilled nursing and rehab services. 3 West is a 42-bed long-term care unit providing care in a home-like environment.
Job details
- Associates in Nursing required.
- Need valid State of Maine or compact RN license.
- 1-3 years previous RN experience preferred.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
- The ability to work well within a team of other care providers.
- Flexibility required to coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days per week.
- Flexibility to float to other units as needed.
Job requirements
- 3 East specializes in Alzheimer's/dementia care.
- The Transitional Rehabilitation Unit focuses on short-term rehab services.
- 3 West provides long-term care in a home-like environment.
Unit specific information
- Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.
- Orientation up to 16 hours may be unpaid.
- St. Mary's has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
- Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.
