Job details

Specialty: Registered Nurse
Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested -- required during fall/winter season
Experience in: Oscillator, conventional ventilator, CPAP, Nasal Cannula specialty gases, PICC lines, Broviacs, UAC UVC PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-Tubes. Must be comfortable with line changes that have multiple drips, pre and post op care.

CA License
2 years of recent Level 4 experience
Will consider strong Level 3 RN if they come from a Level 3 NICU that performs surgeries on newborns
Will consider strong 1st time traveler
BLS
Advanced NRP
PALS Preferred
Willing to float between units (PICU & CVICU) and NICU satellite campuses
Must have own transportation

Schedule information

3x12 Variable or straight nights
Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday for day shift and Friday/Saturday/Sunday for night shift).
14 week contracts only - will not do anything under 14 weeks
Must work 2 out of the 3 holidays. 6 days max RTO.
Ratio: 1:1-2

Unit specific information

Willing to float between units (PICU & CVICU) and NICU satellite campuses (Rancho Springs, Palomar, Scripps Encinitas, Scripps La Jolla, Scripps Mercy and Scripps Chula Vista)

Valid photo ID is required on the first day.
Must have front and back copies of required documents.
