    Job details
  • Specialty: Registered Nurse
  • Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested -- required during fall/winter season
  • Experience in: Oscillator, conventional ventilator, CPAP, Nasal Cannula specialty gases, PICC lines, Broviacs, UAC UVC PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-Tubes. Must be comfortable with line changes that have multiple drips, pre and post op care.
    Job requirements
  • CA License
  • 2 years of recent Level 4 experience
  • Will consider strong Level 3 RN if they come from a Level 3 NICU that performs surgeries on newborns
  • Will consider strong 1st time traveler
  • BLS
  • Advanced NRP
  • PALS Preferred
  • Willing to float between units (PICU & CVICU) and NICU satellite campuses
  • Must have own transportation
    Schedule information
  • 3x12 Variable or straight nights
  • Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday for day shift and Friday/Saturday/Sunday for night shift).
  • 14 week contracts only - will not do anything under 14 weeks
  • Must work 2 out of the 3 holidays. 6 days max RTO.
  • Ratio: 1:1-2
    Unit specific information
  • Willing to float between units (PICU & CVICU) and NICU satellite campuses (Rancho Springs, Palomar, Scripps Encinitas, Scripps La Jolla, Scripps Mercy and Scripps Chula Vista)
    Additional Details
  • Valid photo ID is required on the first day.
  • Must have front and back copies of required documents.
