THIS IS AN CHILDREN'S UNIT! MUST BE COMFORTABLE AND EXPERIENCED!
Works with the multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions.
Utilizes the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care.
Provides clinical supervision of MHW's to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
The Co-Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program offers 24-hour care in a safe and nurturing environment that's designed to promote healing and ongoing recovery.
Our treatment approach focuses on helping patients develop and maintain their sobriety while also managing co-occurring psychiatric issues (such as Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, etc.).
The Co-Occurring Disorders treatment team specializes in providing high-quality intervention, medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal, stabilization, and the education needed to ensure a strong and successful recovery.

Job requirements

5 years of experience as an RN required (recent experience must be within the last 3 months) - REQUIRED
Psych/Behavioral Health experience and age groups must be listed on the resume - REQUIRED
Must have adolescent/child psych experience listed in resume - REQUIRED
Must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts - REQUIRED
Will consider first time travelers
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS: Resume with psych experience and age groups listed Ex. Psych RN - Facility - (AGE GROUP/POPULATION) - DATES
RTO cannot exceed 7 days
Psych skills checklist (within the last year)
2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment

Schedule information

Any scheduling requests must be presented in the submission file.
RTO will not be approved for 11/24-11/30 and 12/22-1/5 - Travelers must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays, based on the facilities needs.

Additional Details

Effective 6/24/2024, any candidates presented to Brattleboro Retreat that live within 35 miles of the facility will be subject to a 10% rate decrease.
Facility housing offered depending on vacancy. Should the traveler choose to accept facility housing, it will be $300-450 depending on which rooms/sizes are available. Agency is responsible for the leasing agreement and is outlined in the Client Specific Exhibit that was signed by your agency.
