• Shift: 7P - 7:30A
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call Requirements: No

Experience and Skills Required

• Mandatory:

  • 2+ years of critical care experience
  • 2+ years of hospital/travel experience
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification

• Preferred:

  • Rotoprone experience
  • CRRT exposure (Prismaflex)
  • Meditech experience

Unit Specifics

• Documentation System: Meditech
• Floating Policy: May float to other areas when census is low; may be floated to another ICU in the system.

Typical Procedures Performed

• Central Lines
• Bronchoscopy
• Bedside Trachs

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Navy (undershirts and jackets in white, navy, or black only)
• Nail Policy: No acrylic nails, nails must be clean and no chipped polish
• Hair: Must be off shoulders and in natural color
• Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible
• Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited

Additional Guidelines

• Work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week block of schedule
• Adhere to floating guidelines and attendance policies
