    Job requirements
  • 2 years’ experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting
  • Requested Skill Set: 2 years’ experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED.
  • Previous HCA experience preferred
    Schedule information
  • Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, can’t commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the dept.
  • Floating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.
    Unit specific information
  • Unit Name: ER
  • Number of Beds: 101
  • Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically- medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
  • Unit staffing description: Techs available- work in cardiac monitoring unit and the internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights
  • Type of equipment: baxter pumps, GE monitors
  • Documentation system: Cerner
    Additional Details
  • Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Respectful behavior, Pt Experience to each patient, Boards updated with info and pt updated throughout visit
  • Dress Code: Required uniform Navy scrubs
  • Attendance policy will be provided day 1.
