Perfusionist state licensure preferred

Provides assistance to the physicians and staff as needed.

Job responsibilities include operating life support equipment for patients undergoing open-heart surgery, setting up and operating different heart bypass pumps, operating extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, and serving in an advisory capacity to the surgeon for cardiac drugs.

Responsible for patient care during a surgical procedure.

Review of basic histology and anatomy required to understand the patient's disease process.

3 years of experience preferred.
