Shift: Days, 5x8 hour shifts (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Call Requirements: After hours and weekend call rotated on a weekly basis (approximately every 3rd week)

Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician will support diagnostic and therapeutic/interventional cardiovascular procedures. Responsibilities include:

Assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab
Performing studies timely under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services

Qualifications

Certifications Required:
- PA ARRT certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Preferred Certification: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
Experience Required: 1 year of Cardiac Interventional Radiology Cath Lab experience

They floated travel nurses in the middle of the shift some times 4 hours into your shift to another floor because they have some of their staff nurses who work only 8 hours; so to accommodate the 8 hr shift staff nurses the travel nurses get thrown around to floors with isolations.
