    Job details
  • The right candidate MUST HAVE A FULL 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE and hold an active BLS, ACLS, ATCN or TNCC, and AZ license or compact license. Travelers may float to the sister facility Mercy Gilbert, as needed. Must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon acceptance (2 MAX ATTEMPTS) and there is also a PASS/FAIL Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions). COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation MD.

  • FULL 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE is required.
    Schedule information
  • Travelers will need to be flexible to work ALL shifts listed (this is mandatory, no exceptions).
  • Start times vary depending on shift.
  • Day/Mid shift: 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 10a-10p, 11a-11p, 12p-12a, 1p-1a.
  • Night Shift: 3p-3a, 5p-5a, 7p-7a.
  • Shifts: Days / Mids: 7a, 9a, 10a, 11a, 12p, 1p. Nights: 3p, 5p, 7p. 12 hr shifts.
    Unit specific information
  • Unit: ER.
  • Number of beds: 60 beds; 14 are fast track.
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:3-4.
  • Charge Nurse and Unit Secretary present.
  • Nurse Aides and Paramedics duties defined.
    Additional Details
  • Minimum 4 weekend shifts per schedule period.
  • Must do 2 of 3 holidays during the holiday season.
