Job requirements
- Shift starts at 6:45 AM
- Report is at the bedside
- Self-scheduling is used, but is not finalized until Manager balances it
- Schedules are out 4 weeks
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holidays: Rotate in with core staff
Schedule information
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Pre and post Cath Lab, CP observation
- Is this a pre/post op area for cath lab/EP and IR? Yes
- Do travelers need pre-op experience? No pre-op experience required, training provided if needed
- Assuming no call if there is no holiday or weekend requirement: No Call, Weekends or Holidays
- Are there tele techs watching tele patients? Yes, we have a UA/MT that helps monitor along with the nurses
Unit specific information
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; Med Sol prescreens/auto offer & manager has 24 hrs to rescind
- Need 2 supervisor references (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 within 12 months & 1 within 3 years worked
- Modules are required to be completed before start; Modules take 3-4 hours - not billable
- Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit within the past year
- Prior to acceptance, the Dys exam through Relias or UNA required along with acceptance; must be completed within 24-48 hours
