  • 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS - Please only submit candidates that are aware of their submission to our facility. Please do not allow candidates to contact facility. Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license. Time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved.
  • 13 weeks assignment with a minimum of 2 years experience current required in Med/Surg/Tele or Progressive Care unit required; ICU Experience also preferred. Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
  • Traveler will mainly be Med-Surg/Tele but will also have to float to ICU when needed. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Position will float to other areas - most likely ICU - as needed but will only be required to perform skills within scope of practice.
    Job requirements
  • Active NM or compact license required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Med/Surg/Tele or Progressive Care unit.
  • ICU experience preferred.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
    Schedule information
  • 12-hour varied shifts.
  • Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
  • Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
  • On call, weekends, and holidays may be required.
    Unit specific information
  • Travelers must provide current Cardiac Arrhythmia prior to assignment.
  • RNs may wear ANY solid color scrubs. The scrub top, pant, and jacket (if worn) must be the same solid color to match.
    Additional Details
  • NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS.
  • Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from the last day worked.
  • Ensure an accurate SS# and DOB is entered to avoid onboarding issues.
