Job Description

We are seeking experienced nurses for a contract position.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin Nursing License
• CPR/BLS certification
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Flu
• Ability to float to other units as a Travel RN may be required
• Availability for every other weekend and holiday
• 12-hour shifts (Nights: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures.
• Document care according to standards.
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by a physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction.
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care.
• Employ critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, escalating issues to the appropriate chain of command as necessary.
