Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN for the following units:

Medical Surgical
Cardiac Telemetry
Step-Down ICU
ICU

Requirements

Extensive Cardiac and Neuro experience
Current Illinois RN License
Certifications: CPR, ACLS, NIHSS

Work Schedule

12-hour shifts (Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Every other weekend and holiday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing techniques, policies, and state laws.
Document care according to standards.
Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policy.
Participate in performance improvement activities within the department or unit.
Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments.
Employ critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience, escalating issues as necessary.
