Brief Unit Description: 65-Bed Emergency Department, pod-based, with separate pediatric pod and separate Acute Mental Health area
Years of Experience Required: 2 years Emergency Nursing experience
Skill Sets Required: General ED nursing skills including but not limited to: Assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking and patient education
Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:4
Patient Population: All
Bed Count: 65
Census: 230 visits/day
EMR (Charting System): EPIC – ASAP
Floating Required: Yes
Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, for Day Rotate (7a-7p, 11a-11p, & 7p-7a) when requested. Rotation frequency: Low. Night position does not rotate
