  • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
  • **Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**
  • ** MIXED ACUITY UNIT: ALL TRAVELERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK WITH MEDSURG PATIENTS**
  • Ratios:1:5-6; PCU 1:3-4
  • Years of experience REQ: 18 months
  • Weekend REQ: Every other
  • Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS required; NIH preferred
  • Is on-call REQ? No
  • Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes

  • RTO Restrictions: Must work 2/3 major holidays.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek. 3, 12 hr. shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.
  • Special Requirements: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, accessing ports, starting IVs. PREFERRED EXP: neuro and oncology experience; Central Line Care/Management; monitoring chemotherapy
  • Unit Information: Medical PCU Oncology and Stroke Unit; Mixed Acuity Unit - Medical patients with some PCU level of care patients.
