Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6
Application must show some 1:5 ratio experience in the Work History section for SD or PCU
Unit is trialing team nursing where two nurses and a PCT partner together to care for a group of patients
Travel experience preferred

Job requirements

Must have vent experience and EPIC experience
1.5 years exp and some level 1 or 2 preferred
Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion
Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday
BLS, ACLS required - must be able to read and interpret strips

Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract
Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine

Unit specific information

Unit Details: Working with Tele/drips/vents
Patient population primarily consists of COPD, CHF, Pneumonia, Flu, Sepsis, Diabetic Ketoacidosis and Post Covid
We care for trach, vents, bipaps and high-oxygen requirements
We see insulin drips for both our DKA and DKA population as well as heparin Cardizem and sporadic other drips
Trach/vents on unit no orally intubated patients
Navy Blue Scrubs
