  • Acuity is blended acuity and ratio is 1: 5 - 6.
  • "Blended acuity" means that it is a mix of med-surg, telemetry, and step-down patients; however, primary level-of-care is telemetry.
  • THEY DO NOT ACCEPT TRAVEL PAIRS
  • Orientation - Mondays
    Job requirements
  • Years of Experience REQ: 1
  • NIHSS Certified (current certificate on file, obtained w/in 2 years of start date)
  • Bedside Dysphagia screening competency (on file)
  • Minimum 1-year experience working in a certified stroke center / stroke unit
  • Familiar with current Stroke guidelines and performance measures for Acute Ischemic and Hemorrhagic strokes
    Schedule information
  • Hours: 1900-0700
  • Shift: Nights 3x12
  • Every Other Weekend required
  • RTO must be included in submittal
    Unit specific information
  • Unit: Tele Advanced Heart Care (AHC)
    Additional Details
  • Meditech experience preferred
  • Assessment tools: Stroke signs/symptoms competency (ex. BE-FAST)
