Job Description

• Department: Onc Pod Emergency Dept - 12N
• Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
  • Oncology experience preferred but not required
  • EPIC experience required

Certifications Required

• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Skills Required

• Proficient in IV starts
• Experience with telemetry monitoring

Patient Ratio

• Ratio of 1:4

Time Off

• Request Time Off (RTO) submission required at the time of application.
• 7 consecutive days off may be granted at the facility's discretion for a 14-week contract.

Additional Information

• Background Check: 7-Year Criminal Background Check required within 1 year of start.
• Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen required within 3 months of start.
• Health Documents:

  • Physical Exam
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
  • MMR Vaccines or Positive Titer
  • Hepatitis B Titer or 3-Vaccine Series
  • Varicella Vaccines or Positive Titer
