Job Description

This position involves collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families to coordinate and promote patient health using evidence-based practices in nursing care across the care continuum. The role includes advocating for patients and families while adhering to nursing and medical plans of care, regulatory standards, and organizational values.

Experience Requirements

  • 2 years of nursing experience.
  • 1 year of pediatric Pre and Post-Op/PACU experience.

Education Requirements

  • Two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four-year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree.
  • BSN preferred.

Certification/License/Registry Requirements

  • Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges, or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to the start date.
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association.
  • Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • CNOR preferred.

Additional Information

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required from October through April. Flu exemption applications must be approved prior to starting. Unvaccinated individuals must sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and wear masks during the respiratory virus season.
