- Clinical preceptor: Performs clinical preceptor role for scrubbing and follows orientation outline, collaborating with the patient care coordinator, educator/Clinical Nurse Specialist.
- Care of environment and equipment: Maintains cleanliness in unit. Maintains and cleans equipment.

Job requirements
- May be required to take call and/or work weekends/holidays based on the needs of the department.

- Maintains and cleans equipment. Held responsible for the equipment use and care in which is used during the surgical case.
Unit specific information
- Frequent standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, crouching, stooping.
- Frequent lifting/moving patients. Intermittent lifting, moving or carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to blood, body fluids or tissue. Possible exposure to infectious materials, communicable diseases and/or other conditions common to a healthcare environment.
