- Fast-paced work environment with an average of 5-10 discharges/admits daily

- Care for patients from outlying areas who seek specialty services

- Focus on acute and chronic management of heart failure patients presenting in crisis, acute cardiac events and illnesses, exacerbation of chronic cardiac disease.

- High acuity patients- IV medical management, hi-flow oxygen, impaired immobility due to venous congestion

- Manage patients post cardiac catheterization and/or cardioversion

Currently 1:5 ratios for PCU (goal is 1:4)

All travelers are expected to float as needed within acuity

TIME SENSITIVE! Drivers License/State ID required within 48 hours of signing. Carilion confirms radius to the facility based on the address on the Drivers License/State ID. If candidate cannot provide a Drivers License/State ID with an address more than 100 miles away from their contracted facility, they will be canceled. Drivers license/state ID is required regardless of documents used on I-9.
