• Patient Diagnoses:

  • Chest Pain
  • Stroke
  • Sepsis
  • Cardiac Arrest
  • Trauma
  • Respiratory Illness
  • Respiratory Arrest
• Visits per Day: 140
• Nursing Model: Cluster nursing in a VIP area with a total of 11 beds

Qualifications

• Experience Required:

  • 4-5 years of nursing experience
  • 3 years of travel experience preferred
• Epic Experience: Required
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
  • NIH Stroke Certification (as applicable)

Additional Requirements

• Floating: Within the unit and specialty as needed
• On-call: Not required
• Documentation:

  • I9 or Attestation
  • Government Issued Photo ID
  • E-Verify
  • Various health documents including TB testing, vaccinations, and physical exam

• Vaccinations:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Flu Vaccine (during flu season)
  • COVID-19 vaccination (if required by specific locations)
• Drug Testing: Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen required within 30 days prior to start

Background Checks

• Criminal Background Check: Required within 30 days of start
• References: Two professional references required within 1 year of start
• Employment and Education Verification: Required
